I've moved to a new domain...

As time has moved on and my needs have changed, so has my homepage. My current site can be found at http://iolo.ie. It features all of the content of this site but is built with the more comprehensive CMS WordPress. iolo.ie will continue to be updated whereas this won't. This site will remain here as a portfolio sample.

The theme is custom built in HTML5 with some examples of my first attempts at CSS3 transitions and animations.

I’m Iolo(spelt iolo, pronounced ‘yoll-oh’), I’ve a Masters in media design from Cork Institute of Technology and I’m living the freelance life for the time being.
I love playing around with technology and have an uncanny ability to make things work.

I design things, I make things, I fix things and occassionally, I break things(usually on purpose).

I can be reached via the email address to the right or via the contact page.

For my Bachelor Project, I worked in conjunction with fellow Multimedia student Aonghus Ó Céilleachair to develop a concept for a reactive in-car environment to increase driver self-awareness and in turn road safety. The project was a collaborative one done with Honda Europe and the project blog can be seen here.

For my MA thesis I investigated the role of social media and microblogging in content distribution online.
